ACHIEVEMENT FIRST UJIMA HIGH SCHOOL

This complete renovation and modernization of a 1930s era parochial school is the new home to Achievement First’s Ujima High School serving 400 students. The building features a restored meeting and dining hall, 20 general classrooms, a music room, break-out classrooms, a science lab, and administration offices.

 

The original exterior brick and limestone façade was structurally repaired, a new roof installed, and a complete replacement of the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems was performed breathing new life into a structure that had been vacant for fifteen years. The project was completed on a fast-track schedule in time for the 2021-22 school year.
